Support

Write to a person.

There is no ticket system and no bot. Email sidd.develops@gmail.com and the developer reads it, usually within two business days.

What to include

It saves a round trip: your platform and OS version, the app version (Settings, at the bottom), what you expected, and what happened instead. If the app misbehaved, Settings → Error log holds the stack traces from this device — you can read them first, then choose to send them. Nothing is sent automatically, and the log contains no diary content.

You can also reach us without leaving the app: Settings → Error log → share, which opens your own share sheet with the log attached. Email remains the primary channel — the in-app path just saves you typing the version numbers.

Response time: the developer reads every message, usually within two business days. Access-barrier and wrong-number reports jump the queue.

Billing escalation: Apple and Google own the transaction, so a refund or a charge you do not recognise starts with them (links below) — but if they refuse something you believe consumer law entitles you to, forward us their reply and we will help you make the case, including pointing at the statutory wording that applies in Karnataka/India and in your own country.

Please don't email your exported record or details of your health unless you have a specific reason to and want us to have them. We can almost always help without either.

Answers to the common ones

I was charged / I want a refund

Apple and Google are the sellers, so refunds are theirs to grant. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: Play Store → Order history. Write to us too if you think the charge was wrong and we will help you make the case.

How do I cancel?

Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Google: Play Store → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge and keeps access until the period you've paid for ends. Deleting the app does not cancel anything.

I paid but the app still won't open

Tap Restore purchases on the purchase screen — that re-reads the receipt from the store. If it still won't open, check you're signed into the same store account you bought with, then email us with the store, the approximate purchase date and the app version from the bottom of Settings.

My trial ended and everything I logged is gone

It isn't gone. Migraine Meta needs a current subscription to open, and when it lapses the app shows the purchase screen and nothing else — but your record stays on the phone, untouched, and everything comes back exactly where you left it the moment you subscribe again. If you'd rather take it with you or erase it instead, Export my data and Delete my data are both on that screen, free, no subscription needed.

I moved to a new phone and my history is gone

The record is kept out of cloud backup on purpose, so it does not travel with a device backup. Export from the old phone (Settings → Export), send yourself the file, and import it on the new one. If the old phone is gone and there is no export, the record cannot be recovered — we never had a copy. Export now and then; it is one tap.

My findings say “still counting”

Working as intended: the data cannot yet support a claim. The screen tells you roughly how far off it is. Logging consistently — including the ordinary days, not only the bad ones — is what moves it.

Sleep or steps aren't filling in

Check the health permission. iOS: Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Migraine Meta. Android: the Health Connect app → App permissions. The access is read-only and the app never writes anything back.

Pressure data is missing for some days

It comes from a public weather model for the place you named, and it can be absent for a date or a location. The feature is optional and off until you name a town.

Can I delete everything?

Settings → delete the record, immediately, or delete the app. Both destroy it on the device, and there is nothing held elsewhere. See the Privacy Policy.

Reporting something serious

If a number in the app looks wrong, tell us — say which screen, what it showed, and what you'd logged. Methodology bugs are the ones we most want to hear about, and we would rather correct a finding than defend it.

For anything about your own health, see your clinician. The app is not a medical device: medical disclaimer.

Refund and cancellation help above is summarised in English. The in-app purchase screen shows prices, renewal dates and the cancel path in German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Chinese. Do not machine-translate this page; human translation per locale is required.
